We deliver cutting-edge technology solutions to residential and commercial clients, specializing in the installation and ongoing maintenance of systems designed to enhance everyday living.

Position Overview

We are seeking a professional, detail-oriented, and highly skilled Field Installation Technician to join our team in a field-based position covering Palm Beach and Martin County. In this role, you will handle field installations, perform troubleshooting and maintenance, and assist with system programming and configuration across a diverse range of projects. Professional appearance and demeanor are a must.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, service, and maintain a wide array of smart home technologies, including whole-home Wi-Fi and networking, surveillance systems, home theater and automation, lighting control (including landscape lighting), equipment racks, and smart home devices with voice activation.
• Perform low-voltage cable routing and termination (such as Cat6 and speaker wiring) and work with low-voltage systems.
• Install, configure, test, and program control systems and equipment (including Control4, Lutron, eero, Google Home, Savant, Crestron, or equivalent platforms).
• Perform on-site technical troubleshooting, repair, and regular inspections of electronic equipment and systems.
• Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately diagnose and resolve complex technical challenges.
• Collaborate with fellow technicians, project managers, and clients to provide exceptional technical support and guarantee seamless project delivery.
• Document all installation and repair activities, equipment used, and job details with meticulous attention to detail while keeping job sites organized and clean.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Previous experience as a service technician or 2+ years of hands-on experience in AV/low-voltage installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude for working with electronic systems and hand tools for equipment repair.
• Solid understanding of computer networking principles, Wi-Fi mesh systems, IP addressing, routers, and switches.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics and technical drawings.
• Familiarity with automation control platforms (e.g., Control4, Lutron, eero, Google Home, Savant, Crestron).
• Exceptional problem-solving, technical troubleshooting, and organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to operate effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment across commercial and residential sites.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills and a professional appearance.
