We’re looking for a Tax Manager to join a well-established global metals and commodity trading organization. You’ll work closely with a long-tenured head of tax in a small, close-knit function. This is a true generalist role focused on U.S. corporate and individual tax with broad international exposure, a great fit for someone who wants stability, a sensible schedule, and a place to build a long career.

What You’ll Do

\n
• Manage and review U.S. corporate tax compliance and filings, plus state income, sales, and property tax, including state nexus assessments
\n
• Oversee U.S. individual filings, including expatriate and resident alien returns, along with FBAR and Form 8938 compliance for senior leadership who travel frequently
\n
• Oversee accounting for income taxes under ASC 740 and apply your knowledge of financial products taxation and Section 163(j) interest expense rules
\n
• Provide advisory and compliance support on U.S. international tax rules, transfer pricing, and permanent establishment considerations
\n
• Manage FATCA and U.S. withholding requirements, including Form W-8BEN-E, and work through Pillar 2 and global minimum tax compliance
\n
• Advise on expatriate taxation, foreign assignment planning, and Puerto Rico tax regimes for U.S. citizens claiming related benefits
\n
• Coordinate with outside advisors on international filings across Switzerland, Dubai, the U.K., and select jurisdictions in Asia and Africa
\n
• Do heavy, hands-on work in Excel, and help evaluate tax software as the team looks at modernizing over time
\n

What You Bring

Must-haves:

\n
• 8 to 12 years of tax experience as a generalist, with both U.S. and international exposure
\n
• Public accounting experience that includes international tax work
\n
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
\n
• Advanced Excel skills and strong attention to detail
\n
• CPA and/or Master’s in Taxation
\n
• Commodity trading, financial products, or global investment structures experience; familiarity with tax software is a plus, especially if you can help recommend a platform
\n
