We are seeking experienced Scaffold Builders to support industrial construction and maintenance activities at a chemical manufacturing facility. Candidates will be responsible for assembling, modifying, and dismantling scaffolding to provide safe access for construction, maintenance, and repair work throughout the facility.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in an industrial environment, such as a chemical plant, refinery, petrochemical facility, or other heavy industrial setting, and be committed to maintaining a safe work environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assemble, erect, modify, and dismantle scaffolding according to project requirements and approved plans.
• Install scaffold platforms, guardrails, access ladders, braces, and other components.
• Inspect scaffold components for damage and ensure proper assembly before use, as authorized.
• Follow site-specific safety procedures, OSHA regulations, and fall protection requirements.
• Work safely around industrial equipment, piping, tanks, vessels, and other plant structures.
• Use hand tools and basic rigging equipment to handle and position scaffold materials.
• Work with supervisors and other trades to provide safe access for maintenance, construction, and turnaround activities.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all site housekeeping requirements.
• Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) and participate in safety meetings and job hazard assessments.
• Follow instructions from scaffold leads, foremen, and site supervision.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an industrial scaffold builder or scaffolder.
• Experience working in a chemical plant, refinery, petrochemical facility, or heavy industrial environment preferred.
• Knowledge of scaffold components, safe erection practices, and dismantling procedures.
• Ability to work at heights and follow fall protection requirements.
• Ability to lift and carry scaffold materials and perform physically demanding work.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and work effectively as part of a crew.
• Willingness to comply with all site safety policies, training, and access requirements.

Work Environment

1. Industrial chemical manufacturing facility.
2. Outdoor and indoor work in varying weather conditions.
3. Work may involve elevated platforms, confined work areas, and congested industrial environments.
4. Project schedules may include extended shifts, overtime, weekends, and turnaround work as required.
